There are many ways you can support Journey to Dream. First and foremost, we ask you commit to praying for this next generation. Second, prayerfully consider becoming a monthly partner and Watchman. That said, EVERY dollar invested is a huge blessing to JTD and the youth we serve. Last, we need can always use volunteers!

Become a Watchman for JTD!

It took the prayers and contributions of many friends to get Journey to Dream off the ground in 2004. God has blessed us with continued prayer warriors and financial partners that allow us to develop programs and expand our reach, and we are forever grateful. It will be our monthly donors that sustain programs and enable us to work weekly with youth. Based on Isaiah 62:6-7, we believe these special partners will join us not only financially, but also in prayer, as we fight for the heart of this next generation.

“I have posted watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the Lord, give yourselves no rest, and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth.” Isaiah 62:6-7

Livin It Loud

Livin It Loud was modeled after the StraightWay, Inc. This community-based program develops high energy, dynamic performances, encouraging other young people to abstain from destructive behaviors. Performances include singing, dancing, drama, and motivational speaking. Effective performances include peer to peer education and testimonies from young people, offering the hope to overcome.

Students joining the team make a commitment to abstain from destructive behaviors throughout high school. Weekly meetings provide students a safe place to share life. Curriculum and discussions focus on accountability, prevention of destructive behaviors, peer pressure, team building, leadership, and compassion/tolerance of others. Students develop prevention campaigns, host prayer walks, and participate in community outreach projects.

A commitment of $130 a month will pay for a student to participate in the Livin It Loud program.
A commitment of $75 a month will pay for a school prevention presentation.
A commitment of $30 a month will pay for pizza nite (a necessity with teens) for ten students.

EVERY donation is a blessing to this program and allows us to encourage students to abstain from destructive behaviors.

Teen Retreats

Our heart for every JTD retreat is that students will so experience the transforming love of Christ that they will never again be the same. Students participate in high-energy, fun outdoor activities, amazing worship, and relevant Biblical discussions. Weekends focus on getting teens away from their technology-driven, schedule-packed lives to focus on THE ONE who can transform and fulfill them. Teens are inspired to return to their schools and community different, living out loud their identity in Christ in a culture that encourages otherwise.

$100 pays for a student to attend a life-changing retreat.
$1,000 pays for TEN students to attend!
